link His welfare IS my concern

This song has always been a favourite of mine.
But since it was re-arranged as a tribute to the Hillsborough 96, I have spent time NOT listening to the whole piece, bur to each line…
What massive statements it makes.
Pity we don’t – me included, use them phrase by Phrase, and mean them – not as we sing them but as a way of life!

    The road is long.
Leads to who knows where, who knows when,
He ain’t heavy- he’s my brother.
    His welfare is my concern.
    Love for one another.
Road from which there is no return.

Says a lot we NEED to hear?
