this night last year… prepped for brain surgery.
admission today.
called ward early this morning and got told that was bed ready for me.
had been told by pre-assessment nurse to negotiate a time…
sister was lovely
6 pm- ish!.
So did the preparations:
- packed now
- but am sure have forgotten something!
- washed my hair – the last wash for the fortnight
- gel nails off
- all jewellery off
- all new jammies opened.
- am VERY nervous now.
- pills packed.
- think am ready.
wish i could just get on with it now.
has been a long day of preparing..
maybe that was a mistake.
but will be in shortly…
