ANXIOUS….

Fionn is 20 today. He has travelled a LONG ROAD, and learned about himself in so many ways. He is a fabulous son.

ANXIOUS and aspergers aged 12….not nice.

• i get anxious when i am about to start something new
• if i am doing something in front of a lot of people
• in school i get anxious when i forget a book
• i am anxious when i see children who are much bigger
• it feels not nice
• the room seems to get smaller
• i drift almost
• it makes my stomach empty
• i feel scared
• i start to shake and twitch and fidget
• sometimes i start to put one shoulder up and look weird
• my mouth goes funny cos i start chewing my lips
• i lose eye contact and talk extremely fast
• i feel like i am about to explode
• i need my mother
• i need a squeeze
• sometimes i need to cry
• sometimes it helps if i read
• sometimes i listen to John Rutter
• sometimes i kick a ball against a wall
